The University of Health Sciences (UHS) has shifted all campuses to solar systems to reduce electricity expenses.
In the 58th meeting of the board of governance, chaired by Justice (Retd) Sheikh Ahmad Farooq, the decision was finalized to be implemented as soon as possible.
The solar system project estimated RS 75 million to save RS 55 million annually on electricity costs. The HEC allocated RS 20 million to support this solar system initiative. The UHS Vice-Chancellor, Prof Dr. Ahsan Waheed Rathore, presented the annual performance report, also outlined key reforms introduced in the past few years, emphasizing revolutionary measurements of the exam process and admissions.

The UHS VC highlighted the transparent organization of the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) and merit-based admission system for both public and private medical colleges.
