Previously, the PM announced a Youth Loan Scheme for youngsters who want to start their businesses.
This Youth Loan Program has expanded and added Loans to buy Laptops.
The program is to allow youngsters to start their business ventures as well as buy laptops for their higher studies. The Assistant Prime Minister on Youth Affairs, Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan announced it. The State Bank of Pakistan had already issued a notification about the program being updated.
As per the new policy, students aged 18 – 30 can enroll in Higher Education Commission-approved institutions and are eligible to apply for the laptop scheme. Financial Assistance will also be provided to young students seeking employment opportunities in other countries. Youngsters who are planning to work overseas can get a loan of 1 million for the visa process, training, and travel expenses.

Rana Mashhood highlighted the government's commitment to maximize opportunities for youth. Approximately, 186 billion has been disbursed under this scheme to support youth employment and entrepreneurship across Pakistan.
