To reflect the latest advancements in Geology, HEC Pakistan has changed the Geology curriculum. This change is to ensure responsive academic programs to meet industry demands and global trends.
Geology experts and senior faculty members session led by Prof. Dr. Mumtaz Muhammad Shah at HEC Regional Center in Lahore, collaborated on this revision.
The aim is to add theoretical knowledge and practical applications to incorporate modern technologies like AI, computational modeling, and geospatial analytics into:
Associate Degree
Bachelor of Science in Geology
Master's Science in Geology
A new course AI & Computational Geology is also introduced to provide advanced tech education, contemporary geology research, and industry practices. After approval, the revised curriculum will be dispersed to nationwide universities.
