The KPK government has postponed the annual matriculation and intermediate exams due to the upcoming month of Ramadan. All educational bodies of KPK have been told to follow the instructions and reschedule exams. The exams were originally set to begin on 5th March the commencement of Ramadan.
It is very hard for students to follow Ramadan as well as prepare for exams so, the exams will help after Eid from 8th April. Peshawar Board Chairman Nasrullah Khan confirmed the decision announced by the KPK government and exams will be conducted in April. The matric exams will begin on 8th April and an official announcement will made public during this meeting.
The inter-exams were initially scheduled for 10th April and postponed to 7th May. This decision is to support teachers and students by helping them fast during Ramadan, which affects their ability to focus and participate in exams.
