The 10th-grade Pakistan studies textbook includes the contribution of prominent women in Pakistan's development from 1947 to now. This is to celebrate women's achievements across various sectors.

Key Additions to the Curriculum
The contributions of Fatima Jinnah, along with 11 other notable women, are recognized in the updated syllabus.


 

  • Fatima Jinnah is honored for her role in Pakistan’s independence.

  • Kulsoom Nawaz is acknowledged for her dedication to public service.

  • Maryam Nawaz Sharif is recognized as Punjab’s first female Chief Minister (2024).

  • Benazir Bhutto is recognized as the first female PM of Pakistan.

  • Nusrat Bhutto is for highlighting political leadership and legacy.

  • Dr. Fehmida Mirza is known to be as first female Speaker of the National Assembly (2008–2013).

  • Justice Ayesha Neelum is the first female Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court (2024).

  • Bilquis Edhi is honored for her philanthropic work in Pakistan.

  • Arfa Karim is remembered as Pakistan’s youngest Microsoft Certified Professional.
