· Punjab School Privatization initiative is set to begin after Eid ul Fitr.
· Schools that have 100 or fewer students will be privatized.
These institutes will be handed over to private owners to streamline the school system.
The eligible school's list is compiled by District Education Officers and Heads of District Education Authorities governed by the Education Ministry. Most of the schools are targeted in rural villages but very few are in urban areas.
