The Punjab Education Department has given strict orders to schools to not collect il the 2 months' fee collectively (March and April) from matric students
The PED has taken this action after receiving several complaints of unauthorized charges made by the school.
Secretary of Schools Education, Khalid Nazir Wattoo, directed school authorities to ensure compliance. He has made strict warnings against demanding advance payments. He stated, “schools must not charge students fees for two months. Schools' actions will be monitored to ensure the order is implemented and serious actions will be taken against those schools who violate the orders.”
Reports are coming from many schools that the school admin has withheld the roll number slip for students who haven't paid the fees. The education secretary assured that authorities are observing these schools and will take serious actions against them.
