- Punjab Education Department scheduled the upcoming academic year 2025 – 2026 starting from April 1.
- The annual exams for 2024 – 2025 will be conducted from March 10th to March 20th of 42000 government schools.
- Approximately, 6.5 million students are expected to participate in it.
The results will be announced in the last week of March while, changes have been made to the exam format for grade 10
th. The Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board (PCTB) has revised Islamic Studies and Pak Studies also increasing their total marks from 50 to 100. In new policies, Islamic Studies will be assessing ninth students and Pak Studies will be assessing tenth students.

The updated syllabus is incorporated into new textbooks and the printing process is currently going on. Educationists believe these adjustments will increase student understanding of both subjects in depth and also improve the academic standards.
