The Punjab School Education Department is eliminating thousands of vacant seats across Punjab schools.
The department has asked for the list of all teaching and non-teaching vacancies, yet to be fulfilled for the last 2 years.
Recently declared that the teachers for Grade 5 to Grade 16 will be removed across Punjab school posts of the previous 2 years. The Punjab School Education Department has sent a letter to District Education Authorities, instructing them to deliver all the data of these vacant posts. Previously, the Punjab School Education Department eliminated the 50,000 teaching seats.

Despite this previous instruction, multiple non-teaching vacancies remain unfilled in schools throughout the Punjab Province.
