Taliban Conditionally Agree To Allow Afghan Girls To Study In Pakistan

Back on October 13th, 2022, afghan students were not allowed to continue their studies after 6th grade. This was taken after regaining power in Afghanistan.
Now Taliban have agreed that females can pursue their higher education in Pakistan. Their guardians also have to accompany them. The Afghan locals are privy to the understanding.
Taliban authorities in Afghanistan reportedly have agreed to allow female students to pursue higher education in Pakistan, provided that their male guardians also are granted visas to accompany them, according to officials privy to the understanding.
The revelation comes as hundreds of Afghan students took entrance examinations on Saturday to secure admission to graduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. programs in Pakistani universities. Afghanistan students are scheduled to participate online in the coming days.



Almost 21,000 male students and 5000 female students in Afghanistan have submitted applications for forthcoming summer sessions. A significant turnout of Afghan students at designated test centers on coming Saturday. The exact number of students is not mentioned by the office.



A significant turnout of Afghan students is witnessed at the fully funded Allama Iqbal scholarship test center in Peshawar and Quetta. The HEC has conducted entry tests to enroll one-third of female Afghan candidates. Almost 2000 students will be selected being female.
Pakistan government has expressed profound gratitude to the Kabul Government for agreeing to allow females to pursue their higher education. Their chaperones are also granted Pakistani visas to stay with them.
