The foundations of Mukhtar A. Sheikh are based on a dream by the late Mian Mukhtar Ahmed Sheikh to establish a state of the art medical facility for the people of southern Punjab regardless of their economic conditions. He envisioned a prosperous southern Punjab by making quality health care and education available to all in turn empowering people so they can realize their true potential.
