Sindh, Minister of Information, Sharjeel Memon, refuted the claim of the Punjab Government setting up Pakistan’s first Autism School for the treatment and education of autistic children.
He dismissed the Punjab Government Spokesperson's statement. He also declared that Sindh has established an Autism School in Karachi, since 2018. He also highlighted 6 schools that are backed by the government in order to help already established schools for autism in Sindh. He also advised the Punjab Government to promote its policies with full confirmation without distorting historical facts and figures.
Punjab Responds to Sindh Claim
Punjab, Minster of Information, Uzma Bukhari, said “Sindh must not contribute in striking CM’s governance and performance. They should contribute to match the level of current CM rather than finding faults. I condemn the act of Sindh Information Minister, Sharjeel Memon criticizing us instead of supporting this meaningful progress for special children.
Both provinces have a continuing heritage of clashing over development claims. Before this correction, the Sindh Information Minister reminded the Punjab Government that Sindh is the first to introduce an electric bus service for Sindh citizens and the electric bus has been successfully working for the last 2 years.
