Higher Education Commission decision about PhD Scholars

All universities have agreed to review the unemployed PhD scholars of country. It was decided in meeting on Thursday held by universities and all participants agreed to announce jobs for unemployed PhD scholars.

Jobs for unemployed PhD scholars in universities

Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University has offered jobs for 22 PhD scholars. University collected 105 CVs of different PhD scholars from HEC website. Twenty two persons were given jobs out of collected 105 CVs. Higher Education Commission (HEC) has admired the efforts of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto university. Officials of HEC have said that they hope that other universities will announce jobs like this.   

HEC chairman, Dr. Tariq Banuri was present with other program coordinators to this issue of unemployment of PhD scholars. PhD scholars will have to fulfill one requirement to get these jobs. And that requirement is to association with any university on honorary basis.   

Higher education has started to get data of PhD scholars recently. HEC has also announced to launch jobs portal up to 31^st December 2019.

Participants agreed to form other committees for the betterment of education in Pakistan.
