Government allocates RS 7.5 billion to enroll out of school children

Federal Minister of planning and Development Professor Ahsan Iqbal announced in the National Assembly that the government of Pakistan is allocating RS 7.5 billion to enroll 26.2 million out of school targeting girls and boys.



He said at the International Conference at COMSTECH “For last 20 years, the education system is facing challenges in strengthening”
The minister announced that the amount for this project is allocated in
25 million from the federal government
25 million from the provincial government
25 million from the relevant project partner

Manhattan Strategy Group (MSG) organized a day conference to meet educational challenges (local and global) faced by Pakistan.
Ahsan Iqbal said “Our education sector works on development and prosperity. We want to boost our literacy rate from 60% to 90%. The best teachers' training centers are established in Pakistan to transform teaching methodology. This training program is to equip teachers to teach students the latest and updated curriculum. The latest and technical exams system must be reformed to meet international standards.”
