Famous French skyscraper (base jumpers) Rémy Loic Leblanc, who had ties to France, tragically lost his life by falling from a 68-story building in Hong Kong
According to South China Morning Post, Mr. Loic Leblanc was attempting to climb the 721-foot tall Trigenter Tower Complex when he fell. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident. It is said that he got stuck outside the penthouse of the upper floor.
The 30-year-old French daredevil, who was known for engaging in such risky endeavors, tragically lost his life by falling from a 68-story residential building in Hong Kong.
According to authorities in Hong Kong, Mr. Loic Leblanc was seen around 6 pm near the building, and he informed the security guard at the gate that he was there to meet a friend on the 40th floor.
Media outlets reported that the security gate attempted to stop him when the alleged friend confirmed he was not familiar with Mr. Leblanc, but he managed to enter the elevator by that time.
CCTV footage showed Mr. Leblanc reaching the 49th floor and later climbing the stairs to the top of the building. People were seen going to an open area towards the rooftop, but it is said that the person was not found anywhere.
However, he was seen alive at 7:38 pm, tapping on the window of the penthouse of the complex, upon which an apartment employee alerted the police.
Media reports have mentioned that Mr. Leblanc was stuck outside the penthouse and was tapping the window for help before losing his balance.
Upon investigating the scene, the police found Mr. Leblanc's camera, containing videos showcasing his daring stunts and high-altitude activities.
