Bhumi Pednekar has been approached by the makers of movie Salute to star opposite Shahrukh Khan.
BeEducated.pk wants you to know that Bhumi Pednekar has appeared as female lead with Akshay Kumar in the movie ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ and Ayushmann Khurrana in two movies, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan and Dum Laga Ke Haisha.

According to Indian media reports, Bollywood King Shahrukh Khan has been cast for the main role in the film "Salute", which is based on the life of an Indian astronomer Rakesh Sharma. Even though the first choice for the lead actor was Bollywood’s Mr. Perfectionist Amir Khan, but he did not accept the offer due to different disagreements on movie’s script and his earnings for the role.
At first actress Kareena Kapoor was offered the lead role in the movie, but she could not become a part of the film. After which the movie maker decided to include Priyanka Chopra in the film. However, when the actress found out that Shahrukh Khan is now replacing Amir Khan in the movie, she refused the role as well.

Now, Bhumi Pednekar’s name has come up in Indian media reports as the new choice for the movie’s heroine. According to the reports, the filmmakers met actress Bhumi Pednekar to talk on the script few days ago, but they have not yet finalized the actress for the role.
