Lahore: A huge number students of Punjab Law College came out on the streets to protest against the unfair and incorrect marking of the Law exams which results were announced. This protested by Law students was started outside the Law College of Punjab University but then they blocked Canal Road and joined other students of different departments whose protest was related to the fee.

The protest of these law students were stating that they are protesting against the management as they have deliberately failed the candidates in one of the exams. These worried students also mentioned that around 70 percent of the students were failed in the exams by the management.

Now the students want the management to recheck the papers and also to inquire about those who checked those papers as they demand justice. The Law students of Punjab University protested and blocked the Canal Road of the Lahore for quite some time which resulted in a huge traffic jam in the city. The management of the PU then negotiated with the students.

The representative of Punjab University issued a statement saying that a fact finding committee was already investigating the reason behind the failure of a big number of students in one particular course of LLB part 2 exams. But according to him the real reasons behind protest was different. He told that the actual demand of the students was related to the few law students who were recently expelled from the university. And by bringing up this particular issue they were just trying to pressurize the management of University. “The management of the university will tremble to any pressure,” he quoted.
