ISLAMABAD: After Quaid-i-Azam University has delayed the announcement of results of its graduate programmes many of the students are worried about their academic future.
In regarding to this concern many known varsities have closed their admission for post-graduate programmes and the universities which are still offering admissions in different programmes have refused to give admission to such students are still waiting for their BA and BSs results.
For this students and parents have shown serious concern about this lack of uniformity in examinations and admission system of the university as it is costing the students an academic year.
One of the student who did not wish to benamed stated “QAU is playing with careers of BA, BSc, Bachelors of Studies (BS) students who are still awaiting the results of exams which were held in June 2017”.
The student further added, “Admissions in Masters of Studies in all Universities are closing by mid-September. Students have been running from their college to university but nobody is ready to listen”.
The universities that are granting admissions are asking the students to provide them final result with complete mark sheets.
Instead of this university officials claims, that there has been no delay in the results announcements and they expected to be announce on Wednesday (today).
Aqeel Gillani the QAU Controller of Examination said, “Last year too the result was announced on the same date”.
He further added in his statement when asked about student issue in admission that, “Students who wanted to enroll themselves in QAU or even at other universities were accommodated by requesting admission officials or by issuing provisional certificates”.
