For being a Pakistani it’s love for to chase cricket and politics. But politics could only be influenced through crucial synopsis while cricket is love of their life. When they talk about cricket they respect it and when they play it they put their faith in it.
But after 2009 attack on Sri Lankan team it was thrived as a curse on cricket as if no foreign team was ready to battle in Pakistan’s field. No doubt, the attack on the team was bombastic and traumatic as the team was attacked by some strange assailants in Lahore as they were heading their way to Gaddafi Stadium. Terrorist fired freely on the bus in which different players were injured including Kumar Sangakkara and Thilan.
This incident sponsored banning of international cricket in Pakistan for 8 hard year for cricket.
But now, it is just a like dream that’s coming true. The stadium lights are again enlightened and ground is all ready to welcome international players on its pitch. As said, “Phir Seeti Bajy Gi, Stage Sajay Ga, Taali Baje Gi, Ab Khel Jamay Ga” the crowd will again stable on stadium seats for hooting, shouting upon sixes and fours of batsman.
When no team was ready to come Pakistan, World XI rectify cricket and ready itself to return the country their pledge of love for cricket.
One of the former New Zealand team player Grant Elliot said, “I’ve never been to Lahore so I’m really looking forward to that. I suppose, going to Lahore will feel like I am going home”.
And now the Gaddafi Stadium is all set to endure cricket on its chest on 12, 13 and 15 September. After the success of two Cricket tournaments like PSL made World XI to spark their bowling and batting at the same venue in Lahore.
Sarfraz Ahmed (C), Fakhar Zaman, Ahmed Shehzad, Babar Azam, Shoaib Malik, Umar Amin, Imad Wasim, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Nawaz, Fahim Ashraf, Hasan Ali, Aamer Yamin, Mohammad Amir, Rumman Raees, Usman Khan, Sohail Khan are Pakistan’s squad.
While, David Miller, Morne Morkel, Tim Paine, Thisara Perera, Imran Tahir, Darren Sammy, Hashim Amla, Grant Elliott, Samuel Badree, George Bailey, Tamim Iqbal, Paul Collingwood, Ben Cutting, Faf du Plessis(c) are going to represent World XI international players team.
So big round of applause for the Pakistan and World XI, especially Pakistanis who were eternally waiting for the international cricket in their homeland. Hoping for the best that everything goes according to the plan without any mishap so that Pakistan again cast on Cricket zone.
